Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
A church is a community of believers and Holy Spirit is no exception. There are many activities to perform at Holy Spirit. Many of these activities support the Sundayworship service. They include:
- Chalice Bearers who help at the altar during the service.
- Readers who read the appointed scriptures.
- Ushers who help seat parishioners at the service and perform other duties.
- Altar Guild members who set up and clean up the sanctuary before and after the service.
Other activities are involved with the community. These include:
- Eucharistic Visitors - Those who visit the sick and deliver the Eucharist to them.
- Order of St. Luke - This is a healing order where members lay hands on the sick and pray for their healing.
- Women's Group - A group of women who meet monthly for fellowship together.
- Bible Study - There are two bible study groups who meet weekly to examine and discuss the scriptures together.
- Adult Education
